Commencement of our business in Malaysia goes back to 1984 when it was established Kumpulan Juruteknik Sdn Bhd as a sewerage and water sector construction company. Since then, we have constructed many oil and gas pipelines, and at the same time expanded our business activities to play a key role in large-scale full turnkey projects in the fields of Multi-Product Pipeline System, Co-Generation Power Plant, Waste to Energy Plant (Incinerator), Submarine Pipeline and Waste Water Treatment Plant which were specialized by JFE Engineering Corp. Japan. In the course of executing these projects including recent petrochemical and general construction projects for Japanese clients, we have accumulated a wealth of experiences and trained ourselves to acquire top rated project management capabilities.
Throughout this period, what we pursued as utmost importance is to perform the work entrusted to us with Japanese derived reliability and management method to meet with Malaysian needs choosing suitable technology and specification. Our main objective is to perform the task efficiently in a timely manner at the most optimum price. We always seek the best for our clients here in Malaysia and will utilize the most competitive technology to develop and execute their projects.
Our challenges continue into the areas of waste management and renewable energy in our own and operate business scheme with capital participation that are of latest needs and interests in SDGs of Malaysia. JFE Engineering is the comprehensive engineering arm of the JFE Group. The company has its roots in steelmaking and shipbuilding businesses and has expanded its engineering business that underpins people’s lives and industries in the fields of energy and the environment, and social infrastructure by blending and evolving its technologies. Our business boasts the latest innovative technologies and a wealth of experience in a wide variety of areas such as waste management, water and sludge treatment, natural gas plants and pipelines, various types of steel structures, bridges, and many others.
With the severe environmental requirements, we have been expanding net zero carbon solutions such as renewable energy projects. They cover biomass energy, geothermal power engineering, photovoltaic generation, and wind power with a special focus on the recent attention on ocean wind power within the JFE group. We also aggressively integrate IT into the Operation and Management of plants utilizing such as IOT and AI. Going forward, with our all-in-one solutions covering everything from proposal to operation of social infrastructure and plant projects, and our global engineering framework that is working together with our overseas group companies, we will move even further forward in the expansion of our overseas business.
Under such circumstances, we have more than 40 years of experience in the construction of incineration facilities, chemical plants, factories, pipelines, and sewerage treatment in Malaysia. Building upon this wealth of knowledge and expertise, we have embarked on a new chapter by capitalizing on scheduled waste treatment and solar power supply business. These initiatives represent a notable first step for us in expanding our long-term, country-based business activities.
In the future, we will aim to make further contributions in a wide range of fields to realize a sustainable society with our serious commitment to SDGs and ESG.
