JFE Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. (JFEM) is delighted to announce the successful commencement of operations for two roof-mounted solar PV systems as of 1st December 2023. With a combined installed capacity of 1.7MW, this marks a significant stride in our dedication to sustainable energy solutions.

The two solar PV systems will cater to the energy requirements of esteemed consumers, Toyochem Specialty Chemical Sdn. Bhd. (TSC) in Seremban, and SMC Automation (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (SMC) in Subang based on the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). The opening ceremonies took place on 5th December for TSC and 14th December for SMC, symbolizing a critical milestone in our collaboration with these prominent organizations.

We are proud to supply solar energy to the consumers with free maintenance throughout the contract period. The annual solar generation is estimated to be 1,822MWh, resulting in a reduction of 1,420 tons of CO2 emissions.

In addition to this on-site roof-top solar PPA, JFEM has initiated a preliminary study on off-site PPA, reflecting our ongoing commitment to sustainability solutions. Partners and consumers are welcome to participate in shaping a more sustainable future.
